Orange mannik on kefir
Kefir orange manna - pie with semolina, which is easy to prepare and incredibly tasty. The dough with semolina succeeds almost always, the baking is magnificent, does not settle when cooling, so I recommend the recipe for beginners. We add the whole orange to the dough, of course, not in the literal sense, I mean, along with the peel and pulp. The only thing you need to get rid of is orange bones. Mannika will not bite the dough, the aroma from the oven during baking spreads magically, everyone will salivate without exception.
Olive oil and juicy orange make mannik wet, it’s delicious, I don’t like dry crumbling biscuit. If you cook for adults, then try to soak the pie with syrup with Cointreau liquor, it turns out very elegantly.
I advise you to serve manic with whipped cream and orange jam on the table - such a dish raises the mood and causes sunny smiles on the faces of friends.

The method of preparation of orange manna on kefir
We put coarsely chopped orange into the blender bowl. You do not need to peel the fruit, grind it together with the peel. If you add orange zest to your baked goods, be sure to thoroughly wash them to rinse the wax and chemicals that are processed with citrus fruits for transportation and storage.
Add kefir and raw chicken eggs to the orange, then turn the ingredients into a homogeneous mass.
Add granulated sugar to the liquid ingredients, mix so that the sugar grains dissolve.
Pour semolina, stir semolina so that there are no lumps, and leave to swell for 40 minutes - 1 hour.
After an hour, add olive oil. Olive can be replaced with melted butter (cooled!) Or any other vegetable oil.
We mix baking powder and soda with whole wheat flour, pour into the dough, mix the ingredients thoroughly.
Scald raisins with boiling water or soaked in cognac. Add poppy seeds and raisins to the dough.
Lubricate the baking dish with a thin layer of softened butter, dust with wheat flour. We spread the dough into a mold.
The oven is heated to a temperature of 180 degrees Celsius.
We put the mold with the manna in the middle of the preheated oven, cook for 45-50 minutes. We check the readiness of the orange manna on kefir with a wooden speck - there will be no traces of dough on the speck if it is completely baked.
We take the manna out of the mold, cool on a wire rack, sprinkle with a thin layer of powdered sugar.
Cut the cooled manna into thick slices, decorate with fresh mint leaves and serve for tea. Enjoy your meal!
The orange manna on kefir turns out to be very beautiful at the cut - poppy and orange zest create a unique pattern, but how delicious it is! Just beyond words!
